The Calm II Right SQ | Framed Canvas Wall Art

An abstract landscape depicts a serene waterscape through horizontal bands of soft, muted colors including pale creams, beiges, sage greens, and deep slate blues, created with layered, translucent washes and horizontal brushstrokes. This contemporary minimalist composition uses atmospheric perspective and color harmony to evoke the peaceful quality of lakes, bays, or coastal views without literal representation. Each horizontal band suggests different elements — sky, distant shorelines, water, and reflections — while maintaining an overall sense of meditative calm and natural rhythm.

This piece creates instant serenity in contemporary spaces that value minimalist design and natural tranquility — perfect for bedrooms where the horizontal lines promote peaceful sleep, meditation spaces, or living areas that serve as calm refuges from busy life. The soft sage and blue palette complements Scandinavian and Japanese-inspired interiors, working beautifully with natural oak, concrete surfaces, and organic textiles. The abstract quality makes it sophisticated enough for modern offices or creative studios, while the gentle subject matter suits any space needing visual calm. The square format works perfectly for compact arrangements or positioned where you want a moment of visual rest in dynamic spaces.

Printed in Australia on premium canvas with archival inks for lasting colour depth. Gallery wrapped and stretched over a solid timber frame — the canvas wraps around the edges for a clean, finished look from every angle. Finished in a floating frame — the canvas sits inside the frame with a visible shadow gap that adds gallery-quality depth and dimension. We do not offer unframed canvas — every piece arrives ready to hang, professionally finished. Available in multiple sizes. The floating frame creates a shadow line around the canvas that makes the artwork appear to float within the frame — a detail borrowed from professional gallery installations.
