The Calm II Left SQ | Framed Canvas Wall Art

This abstract seascape captures the meditative quality of soft horizons through layered horizontal bands in muted blues, teals, creams, and warm peachy tones. The square format concentrates the composition into a contemplative window of calm, where gentle colour transitions evoke the peaceful meeting of water and sky. Part of The Calm series, this contemporary minimalist piece transforms any space into a sanctuary of tranquillity.

Perfect for bedrooms where you want to wake to serenity, meditation spaces, or contemporary living areas that value quiet sophistication. The muted palette works beautifully with natural materials — pair with linen bedding, pale oak furniture, or travertine surfaces for a cohesive, calming aesthetic. In square format, it's ideal for compact spaces, shelf styling, or as part of a gallery wall alongside The Calm II Right SQ and The Calm I Left SQ for a sophisticated abstract landscape installation. The soft blue and teal tones are particularly stunning in rooms with abundant natural light, where the colours shift subtly throughout the day.

Printed in Australia on premium canvas with archival inks for lasting colour depth. Gallery wrapped and stretched over a solid timber frame — the canvas wraps around the edges for a clean, finished look from every angle. Finished in a floating frame — the canvas sits inside the frame with a visible shadow gap that adds gallery-quality depth and dimension. We do NOT offer unframed canvas — every piece arrives ready to hang, professionally finished. Available in multiple sizes. The floating frame creates a shadow line around the canvas that makes the artwork appear to float within the frame — a detail borrowed from professional gallery installations.
