In Your Open Hand Vintage Poster | Framed Canvas Wall Art

This striking vintage advertisement poster explores the mystical art of palmistry through early tobacco marketing, featuring an intricate anatomical drawing of an open palm against a dramatic black background. The white and cream illustration details every line and section with scientific precision, while bold typography promises customers can 'see and know yourself as others see and know you' — a fascinating artifact from when pseudoscience met consumer culture. Perfect for studies, libraries, and spaces celebrating curiosity about human nature and the intersection of mysticism with American commerce.

Printed in Australia on premium canvas with archival inks for lasting colour depth and gallery-wrapped and stretched over a solid timber frame — the canvas wraps around the edges for a clean, finished look from every angle. Finished in a floating frame — the canvas sits inside the frame with a visible shadow gap that adds gallery-quality depth and dimension. We do NOT offer unframed canvas — every piece arrives ready to hang, professionally finished. Available in multiple sizes. The floating frame creates a shadow line around the canvas that makes the artwork appear to float within the frame — a detail borrowed from professional gallery installations.
